Award-winning Middle-East War Correspondent Robert Fisk

The Middle East Children's Alliance presents the intrepid, witty and courageous author Robert Fisk, "one of the most famous journalists in the world." The winner of countless journalism awards and three honorary doctorates, Beirut-based Robert Fisk has reported from the Middle East for over 30 years, covering 11 major wars.
Fisk will be speaking on "Lies, Misreporting and Catastrophe in the Middle East," on Wednesday September 22 at 7pm at the First Congregational Church of Berkeley. The event is ASL interpreted and wheelchair accessible. The event benefits children in Palestine & Lebanon.
He will be interviewed by UC Berkeley scholar and activist Dr. Hatem Bazian.
Tickets $15 general, $10 students/low income, and $50 for special reception with Fisk plus reserved seating up front at event.
