KZYX&Z 2nd Annual Lu'au

KZYX&Z announces its 2010 Luau Fundraiser Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville beginning at 3:30 PM.

Join us for a lovely afternoon of Hawaiian music, hula and food. Featuring the Hawaiian island sounds of slack-key guitarist Kevin Brown, the beautiful voice and hula of Robyn Mahealani Knuebuhl, traditional, contemporary and original Hawaiian mele or songs by Kalae Miles and local favorites Hui Arago.

Admission includes an onolicious lu`au meal starting with pupus (Hawaiian for appetizers) at 3:30. The main event will be served starting at 5:00 PM featuring Kalua Pig, Huli Huli Chicken and Tamarind Pineapple Tofu. Side dishes include Macaroni Salad, Asian Coleslaw and Thai Cucumber Salad, Long Rice, White & Brown Rice Roasted Yams and Poi. A selection of desserts and tropical fruits will follow the main course. Complimentary beverages include iced tea, tropical punch and coffee. A no-host bar features Kona Beer and Mendocino County Wines.

Single ticket admission is $45 in advance; $50 at the gate (if available). Youth ages 12 17 are $20 and children 11 are admitted free. Ticket price includes music and food. A maximum of 300 tickets will be sold for this event.
