The Dance Institute of Washington presents it's 1st Annual Black History Month Benefit Gala on Saturday, February 21st! Performers include DIW's Pre-Professional Students, Maru Montero Dance Company and DIW's own Washington Reflections Dance Company. The funds raised from this event will support our scholarship students enrolled in our FY15 Summer Dance Intensive and purchase drums for our African Drum Ensemble.
The 'Social Hour' will begin at 4:00pm and will feature live music and lite refreshments; an in-studio performance featuring our Pre-professional students and the Washington Reflections Dance Company will begin at 5:00pm and a closing Reception will immediately follow the performance.
