The movies:
"DIARY OF A TEENAGE NUDIST" DOCUMENTARY - 50 mins
If you are expecting an exploitation film, forget it!
Bianca Badham is your typical British 18 year old girl of the 00s: fun loving, intelligent, gentle natured, open minded, and loves her music and surfing the Internet. But there is one thing that she does not share in common with most teenage girls: she was born and raised in a nudist club with her mother, step-father and sister. Upon leaving high school, she decides to spend a more interesting summer than most girls who hit the pubs and go out on the hunt for boyfriends: looking for naturists her own age."
and
"LES TEXTILES" 92 mins (with English subtitles). Trailer here: http://www.fan-de-cinema.com/films/les-textiles.html
Les Textiles - a comedy/drama. Warning up front: There are some "R" rated sexual sequences and the movie was somewhat controversial in France because Naturists felt the portrayal was unfair. I think it's a typical French bedroom farce that just happens to be set at a nudist resort and presents their nudity in a matter of fact way - although it does delve into swingers and gawkers. I say we see for ourselves. Even if it's not perfect, it will be fun to see a work of -fiction- about nudists that isn't NUDE ON THE MOON or whatever. :)
The Plot:
"Sophie and Olivier are a young married couple who work in Paris as bakers. Out of the blue, they decide to buy a summer house on the seaside, but without actually seing it. When Sophie, along with her two kids, arrives first on the premises, she discovers that they have bought a house located in the midst of a nudist camp...Papa has an affair when Mama is out of town and he soon gets into the nudist lifestyle to the concern and disapproval of his wife. Meanwhile the kids take it all in stride and are accepting of the experience."
