OFF THE HOOK ~ Redding
Written by Deborah Tobola and directed by Bill McLaughlin, OFF THE HOOK explores redemption in prison by following the braided stories of four groups of inmates. Racial segregation, violence, separation from family, the danger of becoming too close to others and ultimately the triumph of the human spirit come to life in OFF THE HOOK.
The 15-member cast of OFF THE HOOK have all been incarcerated, from one night in jail to 38 years in prison. OFF THE HOOK features Alaskan Native film star Pius Savage as poet-shaman Sparrow Hawk.
