Night in the Light 2015

Four years ago, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Light of the Village, a ministry in the Alabama Village of Prichard, Alabama, Night in the Light began. It has become an annual banquet to thank supporters for their investment in the work Christ is doing in the Alabama Village. It also provides an opportunity for our passionate supporters to introduce others to Light of the Village.

This year, we are pleased to invite Eric Alexander, author of The Summit, to come and share with us at Night in the Light. Eric, an avid skier, climber, and mountaineer, is perhaps best known for scaling Mt. Everest guiding his blind friend Erik Weihenmayer to its lofty 29,035 ft. summit in May of 2001. Eric is committed to challenging himself physically and
personally, and challenges others to redefine the limits of what they can achieve. At Light of the Village, we have the opportunity each day to engage individuals who are facing obstacles which seem unconquerable to them, and with God's help, we are able
to guide them through those obstacles. Come hear more of Eric's journeys as well as how you can trek with us and those we serve as we press on to new heights.

The pre-dinner reception with hors d'oeuvres will begin at 6:00pm, and dinner will begin at 6:30pm.
