HECTOR BIZERK - HELEN MORT - EYES OF OTHERS - PAUL HULLAH & MARTIN METCALFE
Neu! Reekie! is your monthly whirl of spoken word, film, animation and music fusions. Ruffling feathers from now until forever. Starring:
HECTOR BIZERK live show is something of a cultural phenomenon combining front-man Louie's razor sharp poetry with the incredible tribal rhythms of Audrey Tait and grooving funk bass lines of Fraser Sneddon to create a crescendo of thought-provoking music that encapsulates audiences to move both mentally and physically. The show has elements of live art, b-boying and improvisation and is a celebration of modern hip-hop culture with a very Scottish twist. Second album Nobody Seen Nothing was nominated for Scottish Album of The Year and the band also won Scottish Alternative Music Award this year too.
"probably Scotland's best Hiphop export" NME "Like a James Brown revue in the East End of Glasgow" The Herald "I'm staggered by their cleverly intricate word play, touching on local issues in a profound way." The Scotsman
