The Rare Barrel Beer Dinner 2015
Tuesday February 10th. The Rare Barrel Beer Dinner 5:30 pm & 8:30 pm. Chef Mike O'Brien will prepare a six course dinner paired with the finest offerings from The Rare Barrel. Jay Goodwin and Alex Wallash of The Rare Barrel will walk us through each course. Two seating's are limited to 14 people each and held in the Tivoli Sour Room located in the cellar of Mikkeller Bar SF. Cost is $180. Includes Tax & Gratuity.

Cold App: Arctic Char & avocado tartar, hazelnut & candied ginger gremolata, hibiscus gelee paired w/ Tigerlily; golden with hibiscus and ginger
Hot App: Duck Confit, Duck Fat Orange Emulsion, Shaved Fennel, Confit Citrus, tarragon paired w/ Soliloquy; orange and rosehip
Fish: Olive oil Poached halibut, dehydrated nicoise olives, sauteed spinach, potato crisp paired w/ Across the Sea; golden with coriander and sea salt
Meat: Coffee crusted Eye of Ribeye, Crispy Bone Marrow, charred baby leeks, sour cherry demi and tallo paired w/ Shadows of their Eyes; dark with cherry
Cheese: Phyllo wrapped Marin Triple Cream Brie with mache, pecans and pickled pear with hops (motueka) paired w/ Tangerang; aggressively hopped golden
Palate Cleans: Buttermilk sorbet
Dessert: Quince Brown Butter Upside down Cake, vanilla ice cream paired w/ All Systems Go! golden with coffee
