NOVEMBER
This 2008 comedy by David Mamet tells of a beleaguered American commander-in-chief who comes up with a plan to win back public support by saving a couple of Thanksgiving turkeys from slaughter. With Mamet's characteristic no-holds-barred style, "November" is a scathingly hilarious take on the state of America today, and of the lengths to which people will go to win. The Broadway run of "November" featured the legendary comedic expansiveness of Nathan Lane as President Charles Smith, whom some might think bears a not-so-faint resemblance to certain recent residents of the White House. The Stage Company's production of this oval office farce will be directed by Craig Hinde. Mature themes and adult graphic language.
