Captivating Evening of Classical Indian Music
Join us for a captivating and magical evening of Classical Indian music performed by the celebrated Maestro Vikash Maharaj on Sarod and his son, Prabash Maharaj on Tabla. Both extraordinary musicians represent the sublime mastery attained from a family of over 500 years and 15 generations of dedication to their art. Their music comes from deep within their souls and ignites the hearts of their audiences with their innovative improvisations and enchanting melodies and rhythms. They are joined by the Kirtaniyas, a youthful,up and coming kirtan band steeped in the ancient bhakti traditions of India. Born into these traditions, they invoke a taste of the divine through their ecstatic chanting.
