Literary Death Match SF, Ep. 31
The Literary Death Match SF is proud to bring you Episode 31!
The LDM features four readers fighting to survive in a harsh reality that is the literary world: a brutal smackdown of words, punctuation, and ideas. Our show features memoirist Andre Perry, writerly duo Pushkar Sharma and Sathya Sridharan, poet Andrew Nelson, and spoken-word artist Kirya Traber. The readers will be judged by the following experts: charming and bestselling illustrator/author Lisa Brown (How to Be, The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming, and Baby Mix Me a Drink); former LDM champion and writer/humorist Beth Spotswood (CBS-5's Eye on Blogs, SFGate, the SFAppeal, and VidSF); and delicious dish performance artist Ben McCoy (Sex Workers Art Show Tour and Sister Spit: Next Generation).
Four readers enter; one goes home with a medal. The LDM is a reading series that's competitive; it's mostly fun, sometimes indecent, and always an inspiring crucible of talent.
