Ladies Verse 15: We Are the Ones We Have Been Waiting For
A whole soul event in ints 15th year is celebrating itself and community with a collection of super fabulous lyricists in the ways of our ancestors' ancestors. Part theater, part showcase, part ritual In honor of Women's History Month.
Proceeds will benefit a select group of organizations who stay committed to empowering the communities they serve: Afrikan Youth Alchemy -AYA, Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle, Baltimore Citywide Youth Poetry Team and the Taifa Akofena and World Berries girls rites of passage programs.
