Beer Wars: Film Screening with 21st Amendment
Our monthly documentary film series is taking its cue from the season: bbq food washed down with a chilly beer. Beer Wars is a smart and engaging documentary that goes behind the scenes of the daily battles (and all out wars) that dominate one of America's favorite industries. The story is told through two beer entrepreneurs - Sam and Rhonda - battling the might and tactics of Corporate America. You'll witness their struggle to achieve their American Dream in an industry dominated by powerful corporations unwilling to cede an inch. While we watch, we'll nosh on beer can chicken prepared by Bi-Rite's Morgan Maki and John Watts. Lloyd Wright, 21st Amendment's resident Can Evangelist, will pour Hell or High Watermelon Wheat Beer and be on hand to answer questions. Please arrive at 7PM so that we can get our grub, drink, and seat by 7:30, when doors close and the movie begins.
