Kitchen Dog Theater presents BETRAYAL by Harold Pinter
The play: When her marriage breaks up, Emma asks to meet with her former lover her husband's close friend, Jerry. Their reflection on their seven-year affair sparks the revelation of a different kind of betrayal. Told in reverse chronology, Pinter exquisitely exposes the little lies and casual evasions that underpin our most intimate relationships in this 20th century masterwork.
The playwright: Harold Pinter is among the most influential British writers of the 20th Century. His oeuvre includes such notable plays as The Birthday Party, The Homecoming, Old Times and The Caretaker. In 2005, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.
