Skagit County Fair

Bringing It All Back Home is the theme of the SKAGIT COUNTY FAIR 2010 happening August 11, 12, 13 & 14.
Magician Sterling Deitz; Hypnotist Jennifer Harris Balch; and lots of local music acts including The Lonely Forest, The Halyards, Queens Bluegrass, Reilly & Maloney, The Dunton Sisters, Holmes Shea Band, Candy Sound, The Bad Apples, Poor Mans Jug Band and many more Skagit County entertainers.

Arena Events: Skagit 4-H equestrian events throughout each day, with Friday and Saturday evening events featuring Skagit Rein Riders and more.

Animal Exhibits: Cows, Horses, Goats, Sheep, Poultry, and more. Watch local kids show their skill while showing their animals.

Carnival: Davis Amusements returns

Kid Zone: A full slate of field day activities and strolling entertainers, bouncy houses, gunny sack races, battling knights, and more.

Demonstrations: Blacksmithing, wood carving, cooking and other demonstrations, plus open house at the Rock & Gem Club.

History Exhibits: The Skagit County Fair and Skagit County Historical Museum team up to display photo enlargements depicting Skagit Fair and agricultural history.

Contests: Prizes for the best pie, the biggest zucchini, a chili cook-off, and more.

Community Tent: Skagit Made and Skagit Grown puts the focus on local culture, with local crafts-people, farmers market vendors and community groups.
