INTRODUCING THE RAWDI GRAS 2015 HOST
Known as the ultimate Barbie in the drag world, "Showbiz Spitfire" Paige Turner is a staple of nightlife and cabaret throughout NEW YORK CITY. She is the host and producer of NYC's annual live drag reality show "So You Think You Can Drag" at New World Stages, which is completed it's 5th year. Paige Turner trademarked the phrase "SLURP" which is also the name of her long running variety show now in it's 4th year at Therapy Lounge in Manhattan. Paige performs often outside NYC including her own show at the legendary Crown and Anchor is Provincetown. She is a recent GLAM AWARD winner in NYC and her outlandish dose of mayhem and foolishness always make the audience always feel like the guest star! Her parodies have gained much attention on youtube The New York Times says that "Paige Turner is the ultimate theater queen and always gets everyone to sing along" Michael Musto of OUT "Paige Turner IS the Holly GoLighlty of Drag." And Time Out says Paige Turner "Is a fixture of NYC nightlife".

ABOUT DUCT TAPE & A DREAM
The annual Duct Tape & A Dream Festival features socially provocative and adventurous new works by emerging artists in New York City. It has a been a platform for explorative work spanning across 8 festivals over the past 5 years featuring the talents of over 150 artists. The festival has highlighted solo storytellers, devised pieces, dance, clowning, musicians, musical theatre, straight plays, and so much more. We operate like no other festival in New York. We charge our artists no fees to participate, offer 20 hours of rehearsal space, with a tech and 3 performances in a black-box theatre in midtown NYC.
