The David Wax Museum, in Concert
"...the much buzzed-about Boston band..." -NPR
"If one of Boston's hottest new bands gets any hotter it just might melt." -The Boston Globe
The David Wax Museum brings audiences to their feet with Latin rhythms, call-and-response hollering, and donkey jawbone rattling. NPR has compared them to Calexico, Beirut, DeVotchka, Los Lobos, and Devendra Banhart, all bands who have experimented with traditional Mexican forms.
The concert in Fresno will be held at California Arts Academy's Blackstone Theater, 4750 N. Blackstone between Shaw & Gettysburg. For more information visit the band's website at http://www.davidwaxmuseum.com or http://www.myspace.com/davidwaxmusic.
