CBACT Children's Theatre Festival 10
The Consortium of Boston Area Children's Theatres, together with Watertown Childrens Theatre and The Arsenal Center for the ARTS, are excited to present the third annual CBACT Children's Theatre Festival. Join us for a day of shows, workshops, networking and fun. We have a full schedule showcasing some of the Boston area's best youth theatre companies through shows and workshops. You can go for the full day or just see specific shows (workshops are free to all show goers).
Here's the schedule:
9am - Registration
9:30am - 5:30pm - Buy a FULL DAY ticket for $20 and see all the shows and attend the workshops.
9:30am - Concord Youth Theatre performing "The Adventures of Robin Hood"
10:30am - Workshops by South Shore School of Theatre (There's a Monkey in my Soup; Performance Basics)and The Young Company at Stoneham Theatre (Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed)
11:30am - Performing Arts Center of Metro West performing excerpts from "Willie Wonka" and Watertown Childrens Theatre, performing "Fantastic Mr. Fox"
12:30 - 1:30pm - Lunch, networking and Karaoke
1:30pm - Un-Common Theatre Company presents their Improv Soup Troupe
2:30pm - South Shore School of Theatre performing excerpts from "Sweeney Todd" and The Young Company at Stoneham Theatre performing "A Midsummer Night's Dream"
3:30pm - Workshops by Arlington Childrens Theatre (Improvisation!) and Watertown Children's Theatre (Audition Technique)
4:30pm - Arlington Children's Theatre performs excerpts from "Hamlet" and Lexington Youth Theatre performs "Grease!"
