Seminole Casino Coconut Creek presents WOODSTOCK WEEKEND featuring a concert with legendary Woodstock bands, The Family Stone and Big Brother & The Holding Company.
Headliner: THE FAMILY STONE, best known for their hits "Hot Fun in the Summertime", "Everyday People" and "Thank You" performs with many of the original bands members and is produced by Sly himself, with music written and arranged by his hand.
Opener: BIG BROTHER & THE HOLDING COMPANY are best known for their hits "Down on Me" and "Piece of My Heart" with lead singer JANIS JOPLIN. Their 1968 album Cheap Thrills is considered one of the masterpieces of the psychedelic sound of San Francisco; it reached number one on the Billboard charts, and was ranked number 338 in Rolling Stones the 500 greatest albums of all time.
