Event
Pier Peer
Join us on the docks at night when marine naturalists drop a light into the dark waters of the Sound. See what rises out of the deep dark -- jellyfish, marine worms, nudibranchs, and other, stranger things may visit night time adventurers.
Watch the You Tube video about Pier Peer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIju8PlGSEc.
This is a fun way to get to know Puget Sound and People For Puget Sound -- in a whole new light!
This is a family-friendly event. All children must be supervised by an adult and everyone will be asked to sign a liability waiver. Please dress for the weather (and damp docks) and bring your own flashlights.
These night adventures are an important way to show people why we need a clean and healthy Sound. Use this link to become a member of People For Puget Sound: https://secure.groundspring.org/dn/index.php?aid=7555
You will be supporting our education programs like Pier Peer and will learn all about what we're doing around the Sound. And you'll be working with us for a clean and healthy sound! Become a member today.
Pier Peer events are free to People For Puget Sound members (just enter "PBC_Only" in the discount code section). We are charging $10 for non-member adults in order to keep these exciting programs going. (Members can choose to donate $10 per adult if they'd also like to help cover expenses). Space is limited, both for safety reasons and to keep the event enjoyable for everyone. If an event is full, please remember Pier Peer happens all year round! Sign up early (and often!).
Event fees are not refundable. Please email J Cookson @ sealife@hctc.com with questions or concerns. Thank you for your support!
