Black History Month Gospel Brunch
Join us for an uplifting Sunday! Local bluegrass phenomes, The Mighty Chiplings will perform gospel favorites, followed by the inspirational Milestones of Development Choir, and local musician Chris Riebli.
Milestones of Development Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive quality services for people who have intellectual disabilities. The choir was started 12 years ago by Mr. Leroy Williams, who grew up in a religious household. His father is a Pastor, his mother a First Lady and choir director, his sister a gospel recording artist. He wanted to have a choir of his own. When he came to live at Milestones of Development he convinced others clients and staff to help him sing praises to the Lord. This choir shows it's not about your disabilities but your ability to lift Him up. After the performances a delicious Southern brunch will be served.
Please bear in mind that tickets need to be in hand by Feb. 13th so that we can have numbers to the caterer. If possible, we may have tickets at the door, but they will be $40.
