Roller Derby in Game Training with All aBout Derby and Getsome Athletics

Getsome Athletics will be headed back to Michigan a for an awesome training camp April 17-19, 2015.

This camp is awesome!!!

You sign up as a team. Your team is composed of up to 20 skaters and 2 coaches.

Heres what you and your team get:

1. 2 long scrimmage portions. You will get direct feedback as your packs come off the floor as well as have notes taken for the video review portion.

2. A video review session with overall and individual feedback that will help your team see your areas of opportunity, coaches watch your scrimmage, take notes and relay that information to you while you are watching footage of yourself play. This positive and insightful review allows you to really analyze your skills and understand how to step your game up to the next level! This is a really awesome way to develop team awareness of team strategy execution issues and develop the awareness to correct the issues.

3. Two multi hour on skates training sessions working on the main issues pointed out during the video review session so you can develop the skills to execute the strategies as well as learn drills to continue improvement once you are home.

4. A group discussion about team dynamics and how to create a positive and productive team environment.

Officials Training includes in scrimmage feedback and learning opportunities. There will be off skates review time and debriefing opportunities where you will get personalized feedback to improve your officiating skills. There will also be seminars including how to properly run official reviews and captain and coach interaction.

officials trainer Umpire Strikes Back:
WFTDA Level 5 Certified Referee with seven years of officiating experience. Four-time WFTDA Play-Off Tournament Head Referee. Head of Officiating for the Minnesota RollerGirls.

This event will have a minimum of 4 teams and a maximum of 6 teams. Sign up to reserve your teams spot today!

Schedule will be:

Adult Team Training
Friday: 6-10pm
Saturday: 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm (the afternoon session will be at the eagles club for lunch and video review)
Sunday: 10am-5pm

Jr Training Camp
Saturday 6:00-8:30
