IMPORTANT NOTE: THE LOCATION OF THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE WOMAN'S CLUB OF HOLLYWOOD. PLEASE CLICK ON THE MAP TO THE RIGHT FOR MORE INFORMATION.
Hollywood Heritage is pleased to present a celebration of the life and career of Eddie Cantor, who was a humanitarian and comedic musical actor who crossed over the mediums of stage, radio, film, books and television in the first half of the last century. With his his passion and exuberance for a life that featured his family of five daughters, loving wife Ida and his craft, Eddie was a powerhouse in his day.
Join the president of the Eddie Cantor Appreciation Society, Michelle Malik, historian Dave Greim, granddaughter Amanda Gari and other special guests as we discuss a great man and his work. We will close the evening with a screening of the 1995 documentary, One Man's Laughter as well as the rarely seen short film "Midnight Frolic".
In addition, the evening will feature our famous raffle, delicious refreshments, special surprises and more! We recommend you purchase tickets online as this event will likely sell-out. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door on the night of the event. Thank you for supporting Hollywood Heritage!
