Downton Abbey Vintage Banquet and Advance Episode Viewing Experience, Lex 18 Asheville
Fans of America's favorite BBC series Downton Abbey are being invited to six additional evenings of our previously sold-out intimate interactive vintage banquet dinner experience. Each banquet is followed by an advanced viewing of the next episode of Downton Abbey Season 5. During the month of February, we have scheduled eight private ticketed events limited to 18 exclusive guests each. We invite you to be our guest Tuesdays, Wednesdays and, or two Thursdays and for the following dates:

Lex 18's historic late1920's dining room is set in a resplendent post-Edwardian era style complete with all the finery from this popular historic era. Centered under its gold ceiling, a 17-foot long banquet table is lavishly dressed in velvets with French Limoges china, arranged flowers in crystal, sterling candelabras, fine linens and vintage cut crystal water, wine and champagne glasses. 'Footmen' in tails and the head butler will serve guests a five-course wine and champagne dinner from the menus of Downton Abbey. The extravagant banquet is made all the more fabulous by an interactive cast personifying Asheville's version of the Crawley family members, wild guests and their lively servants.

EVENING DETAILS:
At 6:30pm the evening begins with a vintage period cocktail hour. During the cocktail hour guests are treated to an enlivening 15-minute presentation covering music, arts, fashion and culture of the time in both Asheville and England.
At 7:15pm the butler will announce dinner and guests are escorted to the dining room to find Downton Abbey styled footmen at the ready to serve an exquisite five-course meal resplendent with fine wines, and champagne. This dinner affair includes a magnificent candlelit room of beautiful china, fine silverware, crystal and the leisurely feast classic of a grand manor.
During dinner, guests will interactively experience the characteristic wit and sarcasm of America's version of the Crawley family. Guest will witness and be drawn into petty jealousies, titillating conversations and scheming ambitions while overhearing secrets among the family and the servants - all deliciously set against the backdrop of the 1920's and 30's of Asheville.
At 9:15pm champagne and dessert will be served along with coffee and tea service and a selection of digestive liqueur - sherry, port and cognac. The curtains then part for the advance viewing of the next episode to be broadcasted in Season 5 Downton Abbey Masterpiece on Lex 18's theatre screen.
At 10:15pm the Masterpiece program concludes and guests are invited to stay for conversation and gossip.
Space is limited to 18 guests for each of the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday events for this extraordinary food and libations experience and interactive fun set in the grand style of one of the most watched and loved Masterpiece programs in the world, Downton Abbey.
