Beta Friendswood, Level 1 Improv

Beta is excited to bring professional improv training to your community. Since 2013, Beta Theater has provided professional training and performance opportunities to Houston! Before now, you would have to travel all the way downtown to work with us and learn the skills to be the next big thing on SNL. No more. We are bringing our training out to you.

So, if you want to train like Steve Carrel or Tina Fey to become the best performer you can be, then consider learning improv with Beta Theater. Maybe you're only interested in gaining confidence or increase your public speaking chops. These classes will help. Plus they are pretty fun!

In total, there are 6 levels at Beta Theater, and each level is 8 weeks.

Level 1
Fundamentals of Improvisation
Level 1 Improv at Beta Theater is all about listening, agreement, confidence and culture. We focus and drill to create a strong foundation for the following levels

Classes are 8 weeks of 3 hours sessions. There will be a recital.

*** In order to pass Level 1 improv, you must have your teacher's approval and no more than 2 absences. Attendance for the 1st and last class is required.
