Workshop in Stagecraft & Acting: "I Will Hide Me In The Arbor"
This workshop will explore the staging challenges associated with the gulling scenes in Much Ado about Nothing, and allow participants the opportunity to create character by pursuing the various options available on an early modern stage like the one Shakespeare wrote for. Discussion will revolve around the explicit hiding in these scenes and the thematic hiding that occurs throughout the play. The combination of textual analysis and performance is excellent for Drama and English classes
