APO Spring 2015 Concert: Family & Friends
The APO features a few of its members as soloists.
- Mozart: Symphony No. 38 "Prague"
- Beethoven: Egmont Overture
- Stravinsky: Octet for Wind Instruments
- Beethoven: Romance for Violin and Orchestra (Bernard Reilly, violin)
- Copeland: Quiet City (Brad Bub, trumpet & Maro Cooper, English horn)
Amy Wilson conducts.
All seating is general admission. One child under 12 admitted with each adult ticket purchased.
Box office opens at 7:00 p.m.; seating begins at 7:15 p.m. Complimentary reception follows concert.
NOTE: The planned Lebrun oboe concerto had to be removed from the program because we were unable to obtain orchestra parts in time for rehearsals. Torrence Welch will be performing an oboe concerto with us next season.
