THE LEAGUE OF RED HERRINGS -- an evening of dance with generous splashes of theater, humor, and other unexpected elements. An exploding sensorium of capes, 300 pounds of ice, mermaid tails, and exposed secrets. Five new dances featuring Judith Howard, Ted Howard, Naomi Joy, Tara King, Theresa Madaus, April Sellers, Monica Thomas, Erin Thompson, and Morgan Thorson.
Delving deeper than ever into gender and queerness with a slew of new characters, drag influences and perversely funny takes on authority, Mad King Thomas is thrilled to provide interesting points of comparison and contrast to between their work and Howard's (who greatly influenced and inspired them during their time as Macalester students).
