McTuff with Bad Luck lands at SPACECRAFT
Hammond organist Joe Doria brings together some of the best of the NW music scene to create a powerful and jaw-dropping funk and jazz sound like you've never heard, exhibiting a mix of stellar musicianship, seasoned songwriting and deep groove where no musical stone gets unturned. McTuff is a movin' and groovin' adventure that you will not soon forget, featuring the impeccable Andy Coe on guitar and the incredible Tarik Abouzied on drums.

McTuff began in 2008 as an ode to jazz organ greats Jimmy Smith and Captain Jack McDuff, and has since evolved into a versatile and exciting group that has performed across the nation. The band has two albums under its belt, their 2009 release McTuff Vol. 1 and their 2011 follow-up McTuff Vol. 2: After the Show, with a third slated for release in Spring 2015.

McTuff has performed at Bumbershoot, the New Orleans Jazz Fest, as well as festivals and venues all over the US. The band has also held a residency at Seattle's legendary Seamonster Lounge for over five years. Their Tuesday night show has become regular stop for local and traveling musicians including Skerik, Allen Stone, Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band), G Love (and Special Sauce), Blake Lewis, Kevin Sawka, and many others.

The members of McTuff have performed and toured with an impressive list of world-renowned groups and artists including Carlos Santana, Stanton Moore, Ravi Coltrane, Bobby Previte, Michael Shrieve, Mike Stern and many others.

Joe Doria  Hammond Organ / Keys
With a strong library of original compositions, years of exciting performances heading up his own projects, as well as numerous sideman credits, musician and composer Joe Doria is an artist who is carving his own unique voice and sound on the Hammond organ and keys, adding depth and dimension to every project and performance. Joe can be heard with many artists and projects including The JD Trio with Byron Vannoy and Chris Spencer, The Dan Heck Trio with John Wicks and Dan Heck, Skerik's Syncopated Taint Septet, Arisawkadoria with Kevin Sawka and Ari Zucker, the duo DOS(e) with John Wicks, guitarist Skip Heller, Chewy , Thaddeus Turner, Mike Stone, Jeff "Tain" Watts, drummer Michael Shrieve of Santana, Kinski, Barrett Martin's "Aftermath", and many others. Andy Coe  Guitar
With a rich background in jazz and a joyful enthusiasm for blues and psychedelic rock, Andy Coe is recognized as a deeply intuitive, emotive guitarist. As an architect of sound and style, Coe draws in listeners, making collective exploration and resolution accessible across genres. Born and raised in Seattle, Andy played in the critically acclaimed Roosevelt High School Jazz band before going on to graduate from the music department of the University of North Texas. He has played venues and festivals around the country and world ever since, and has shared the stage with many great musicians including Reggie Workman, Rashied Ali, Ravi Coltrane, Norah Jones, Stanton Moore, Mike Clark, Bobby Previtte, Skerik, Mike Dillon, Karl Denson, Kyle Hollingsworth and many others. Tarik Abouzied  Drums
Tarik Abouzied is an active multi-instrumental musician in the Northwest music scene known for his deep pocket and powerful sound. A founding member of funk group Pocket Change and jazz project Hardcoretet, Tarik also performs regularly with countless Seattle bands and artists and has performed with Nigel Hall, G Love (and Special Sauce), Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band), Skerik, Brian Haas, Jessica Lurie, Mike Stern, and many others.
