2nd event in 2010 Green Business Networking Luncheon Series
Interested in how to embed sustainability into your business? Come learn and share with others like you. 2nd in the 2010 series Topic: Life Cycle Assessment and why it is important to Steelcase's focus on sustainability.
Steelcase believes our modern, highly technological civilization is not sustainable. As a global civilization, we are producing pollution faster than the environment can break it down. We are consuming resources faster than they can be produced or replenished. Steelcase uses Life Cycle Assessment as a way to broaden its focus to include every stage of a product's life not only to minimize the impact they have, but to strive to make their impacts positive.
Menu: Washington own Thai beef salad, local lettuce hearts, tomato, spring onions, spicy coconut dressing; classic crème Brule. $15 Guest speaker, followed by Conversation Cafés at each table to share tips, gain insights and build the support network you need to go green.
