Dress up to get down! Drinks, eats, prom photos, and great music. Come have a redo of you're less than awesome school dance experience with SPACECRAFT and Slow Dance.
"The group describes their sound as Yacht Rap, a blend of those smooth 70s and early 80s yacht rock standards with hip hop, covering everything from liquor and drugs to Mayor McCheese. It's like having rap music on your walkman while the AM radio in your parent's old 1974 Oldsmo-Buick is playing in the background. It's what Kenny Loggins could have sounded like had he gone off the rails in the 80s and done an album on Def Jam. It has saxophones. It's brilliant."
Larry Mizzel Jr, of The Stranger wrote, "I also regret not writing more about the ridiculous shit that Slow Dance have been doing on the lowfrom having an album release party on a boat (where they released their album as a custom life jacket with built-in speakers) to renting out China Harbor for a Halloween party, which itself is just amazing to me for some reason."
