MOSES SUMNEY with Shaprece & Crater
On January 28, 2015 up-and-coming LA singer songwriter Moses Sumney will be performing at the Ethnic Cultural Theatre @ UW. He's been called "the goldenboy of the L.A. grapevine" by Okayplayer, toured with Karen O extensively, and been increasingly involved with Solange Knowles St. Heron label. His music is a concoction of soul-infused folk music using guitar and unique arrangements built on loop pedals. Moses Sumney is someone you should definitely look out for in 2015. As opening support local indie band Crater, known for their pop hooks and harmonies will be performing. And expect a performance as well from local soul songstress Shaprece with a stripped down set.
