Cheers to 20 years!
On 2/3/15, we're celebrating 20 years of promoting adult literacy by throwing ourselves a birthday bash at Lagunitas Chicago TapRoom. Come raise a glass with us!
Heavy appetizers, birthday cake, and festive fun are on us! Delicious Lagunitas brews are on you!
The whens, wheres, and whatnots:
Tuesday, February 3rd, 5:30-8:30 p.m. @ the incomparable Lagunitas TapRoom - 2607 W. 17th St. in Chicago. Last call, 8:00.
Lagunitas is pouring $5 pints, and 100% of proceeds from the beer gets donated right back to Literacy Works (Sigh...we love Lagunitas.)
It's a dance party y'all! We've got DJs playing dance-y stuff from our mid-90s roots.
Can't get a sitter? It's not a kid-centered event, but they are welcome in the TapRoom.
This is a free event, but you must RSVP with us to get on the guest list.
