The Pillowman
Opening February 19, 2015, for a ten-performance run over three weekends.
Winner! 2005 New York Drama Critics' Circle Award winner for Best Foreign Play. With echoes of Stoppard, Kafka, and the Brothers Grimm, THE PILLOWMAN by Martin McDonagh, centers on a writer in an unnamed totalitarian state who is being interrogated about the gruesome content of his short stories and their similarities to a series of child murders. The result is an urgent work of theatrical bravura and an unflinching examination of the very nature and purpose of art.
Director: John Dorcic; Associate Director: Caitlin Esposito. Cast includes: Scott McIntyre as Katurian, Eric Clavell as Michal, Jason Kirsch as Topolski and Jason Moreland as Ariel. Performance dates: February 19, 20, 21, 27, 28, March 6,7 at 8 PM; February 22, March 1, 8 at 3 PM 57 Main St, Northport
