2 Day Basketmaking Course
Traditional willow basketry course covering all the techniques needed to produce your own basket/s, which you can take home at the end of the weekend.
Skills taught will include: pairing, staking up, upsetting, waling, randing, trac and/or rod borders, and handles.
Students can choose whether to make a couple of smaller baskets such as fruit bowls and trays or one larger basket such as a kindling basket or shopping basket.
This course is suitable for beginners or improvers.
Places need to booked ten days in advance to allow time to prepare the willow. I will also not be able to offer full refunds after this point, unless someone can be found to fill your place.
The course will run from 10am till 4pm each day. Please bring your own packed lunch.
