Forty Acres at the Five Oaks Clubhouse is very pleased to present singer/songwriter Scott Miller, appearing in a special duo performance with bass and cello player Bryn Davies, on Saturday, February 28 at 8:00 p.m.
Scott has been entertaining audiences for many years, previously with his group, The V-Roys, and with Scott Miller and the Commonwealth, and has recently released a project with acclaimed producer, Doug Lancio, entitled BIG, BIG WORLD.
Ever since Steve Earle declared Miller a "world class" songwriter - signing him and The V-Roys to his record label E-Squared and producing their two bedrock Americana albums JUST ADD ICE and ALL ABOUT TOWN with Twangtrust partner Ray Kennedy - Miller has been known as a writer's writer.
Bryn Davies has an impressive resume, having worked with Peter Rowan as the Texas Trio. She has been recently touring with Darryl Scott, the Tony Rice Unit and Jack White, but is taking time off to join Scott Miller in this special concert for Forty Acres.
