Single Malt Whiskey Tasting
Members of the Seattle Whiskey Collective and the general public are invited to come taste single malt whiskeys from around the world. Scotch is ubiquitous, so we'll be exploring Japan, Taiwan, India, Tasmania, England, and more, including some fantastic domestics. We'll learn what single malt whiskeys are, how they're made, and how they compare to other types of whiskey.
Also in attendance will be Seattle's own Westland Distillery, and they'll be presenting their own amazing single malts. This is a great opportunity to meet the distiller and ask questions!
The Barrel Thief's bar will be open after the tasting exclusively for event participants if they wish to explore any other whiskeys...The Barrel Thief carries about 200 whiskeys, with a focus on off-the-beaten-path spirits.
