Bush Monologues
One night only - After great audience reviews in Los Angeles and New York, The Bush Monologues makes its Arizona debut. The show is a cathartic, comedic, and fictional exploration of the psychological attributes of a President.
The Bush Monologues is based on a fictional account of "details" omitted from Bush's upcoming memoir "Decision Points."
The show was built upon the dramatic piece "Contrition" written by Emmy Award winner Rick Overton and performed by Troy Conrad in 2004 at Sit N' Spin in Los Angeles. Still containing some of the dramatic elements of "Contrition," the current show is mostly comedic, and remains a vast departure from the "Bush is stupid" jokes.
In short, this show looks not to the past, but inside.
