Stormwater: it flows off our roofs, down our streets, and across our parking lots and it's the biggest pollution problem in Puget Sound. Learn how you can make a difference to fix this problem in in this hands-on and on-the-ground experience, learning directly from stormwater experts.
We'll follow the flow of water down the urban watershed by car and foot. Our tour will start at Grasslawn Park at the parking lot off 148th. There we'll check out the Grasslawn Park LID demonstration project and see how we're using cutting edge technology to prevent stormwater pollution upstream before it reaches our rivers.
We'll follow the path stormwater into the Sammamish River, checking out restoration projects along the route that support critical salmon migration routes. Finally, you'll learn how to apply what you've learned to take direct action to clean up our stormwater.
There are only 15 spots available, RSVP today!
