Burlesque for Everyone!
Burlesque for all!
This gender-neutral class teaches the basic movement vocabulary of burlesque. Everyone is welcome to learn the joy of expressing themselves through bumping, grinding, shimmying, and strutting! Burlesque is an amazing way to supercharge your positive feelings about your body and sexuality, regardless of sex or preference. No prior dance experience is required for this class.
We are not teaching clothing removal as part of this class and there is no nudity. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Dance or workout clothing, shorts and t-shirts are fine. Dance footwear is preferred, but bare feet are fine. Sneakers are not recommended.
In honor of Boston Pride, The Boston Academy of Burlesque Education is pleased to offer this course at a reduced registration fee. Pre-registration is required as space is limited and this class will sell out.
