Touching the Infinite: Self Mastery Through Creativity
When we tap into our creative genius we access an infinite source of wisdom. Whether engaged in artistic pursuits or an active and wakeful expression of new ideas (engineering, mathematics, healing, architecture etc.) we grow and benefit from developing our imagination. Expanding our field of awareness increases our capacity for innovation, evolution and joy. In this three hour workshop, Lisa Ferraro and Erika Luckett offer practical tools to connect to inner wisdom with rewarding experiential activities.
About the workshop facilitators:
Retreat facilitator, music director, life coach, and vocalist, Lisa Ferraro brings her broad experience, talent and humor to awakening humanity through a consciousness of love and oneness. A masterful orchestrator of energy and consciousness, her teaching style is engaging and heart opening.
Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Child Psychology from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA, Lisa combined her passion for spirituality with psychology. In 1999 she founded SoulCall, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of foster children and at risk youth, and she was selected in 2009 as one of Pittsburgh's Fifty Finest by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of America. Her latest jazz release, "Serenading the Moon" topped the jazz charts in 2014.
Lisa is Co-Director of The Circle of Love Gathering (alongside Dr. David Leonard) and facilitates retreats, conferences, and workshops on Self Mastery Through Creativity with Erika Luckett.
Internationally acclaimed composer, musician, and educator, Erika Luckett, grew up in a fluid crosscurrent of cultures developing an early appreciation for the interconnectedness of people and the power of music to transform lives. She graduated from Berklee College of Music Magna Cum Laude with a degree in composition and film scoring.
With over twenty years experience composing and performing, her partnerships and recognition span the globe. Erika has collaborated with international organizations focused on deepening the understanding of human consciousness, healing, and the body/mind/spirit connection. She was honored in 2006 as "One of the 100 Most Outstanding Women of the Year" by the Jewish Post.
In 2008 she performed at the 20th anniversary of the Nobel Peace prize forum. As a composer for film and television, her efforts have yielded an Academy Award nomination and two Emmy awards (Untold Stories, The Trilogy, From Danger to Dignity dir. Dorothy Fadiman.)
Together with Lisa Ferraro, she offers retreats and workshops across North America and Europe guiding participants in the transformational and healing power of music and creativity.
