On An Average Day

For the first show at The Living Room we have assembled a crew of Kansas City's finest with experience from every professional stage in the city. On An Average Day is directed by Scott Cordes, who in recent years has directed Pig Farm and Killer Joe. It stars Matt Weiss (Valhalla, L'Histoire d'Amour, ) and Rusty Sneary (Frozen, Killer Joe, Pillowman). Set design by Jon Cupit and Marlin Deen, Lighting design by John "Moose" Kimball, Sound design by David Keihl. Costume design by John Fulton Adams and Set dressing/props by Ron MeGee.

John Kolvenbach is the author of Love Song, Gizmo Love, The Gravity of Means, and Fabuloso. On An Average Day premiered in London's West End at the Comedy Theatre starring Woody Harrelson and Kyle Mclachlan. Kolvenbach's works have been performed all over the world, including productions in Rome, Sydney, Wellington, Seoul, Melbourne, Tel Aviv, and in many theatres in the US. The Living Room is excited to add Kansas City to that list.
