Doug and Aaron Haywood Concert Evening
Singer-songwriter Doug Haywood, who has performed with some of the top artists of the past four decades, returns to Fiddlers Dream to play with his favorite sideman, his son Aaron.
For twenty years Doug recorded and toured with Jackson Browne. They reunited recently in the studio where Doug sang harmonies on the new album, "Standing In The Breach", released on Oct 7th on Inside Recordings. Doug has had a top 10 hit with If It Ain't Love By Now, recorded by Jim Ed Brown and Helen Cornelius. Other songs of Haywood's have been recorded by Bobbie Gentry, The Dillards, David Lindley, Mason Williams, Jennifer Warnes, Jerry Reed, Juice Newton, and many others. As a solo recording artist he has three releases: "Doug Haywood: Six Songs", "In These Rooms", and "Nevada." Doug is currently working on his fourth solo release.
Joining his dad for the show will be Aaron Haywood, who plays bass for the popular Celtic rock band, The Indulgers, out of Denver, Colorado. Together the Haywoods are sure to entertain with original songs, as well as some of their favorites by other artists.
Admission is $10 by advance purchase through Brown Paper Tickets (link to follow) and will be $15 at the door the day of the show.
