Drawing from studies in tango and swing dance, Antonick and Meyer push the boundaries of lead-follow roles, asking how conventions can foster functional connection or inhibit freedom and intimacy. Transplanting social dance tactics to contemporary dance vocabulary, this work creates a kaleidoscopic world of shifting shadows.
