BAY AREA GREEN TOURS First Thursdays Farm to Fork Tour
First Thursdays are a program of Bay Area Green Tours, designed to introduce a different green topic each month. These engaging educational tours are open to the public and highlight successful green ventures and sustainability in action. Join us on the first Thursday in June for the FARM to FORK TOUR on June 3rd at 8:30am. Meet us for breakfast at Gather Restaurant (www.gatherrestaurant.com), one of the best organic restaurants in Berkeley. Then discover where the food on your fork is grown. Explore the springtime blossoms on a farm, learn about local food sources and the nitty-gritty of how sustainable farmers care for the Earth while bringing delicious food to your table. Shake hands with the people that make it happen!
The tour departs AND concludes at Gather Restaurant, next to the Brower Center, at the corner of Oxford St. and Allston Way in Berkeley. Register early to reserve your seat, this is a popular tour.
Cost: $90/ Ticket (can be exchanged for another tour if you need to cancel)
