Stormwater - it flows off our roofs, down our streets, and across our parking lots - and it's the biggest pollution problem in Puget Sound. Learn how you can make a difference to fix this problem in this hands-on and on-the-ground experience, learning directly from stormwater experts.
We'll follow the flow of water down the urban watershed by car and foot. Our tour will start at Everest Creek and follow the path stormwater takes from there. As we walk we'll place "Puget Sound Starts Here" storm drain markers along our route. Along the way, we'll pull up a manhole cover, stick our heads underground, and take a look at the water flowing under our feet. The tour will culminate at Heritage Hall on the shores of Lake Washington to discuss how to take direct action to clean up our stormwater.
There are only 30 spots available, RSVP today!
