Lorem Ipsum: Love and Information
Love and Information, Caryl Churchill's newest play features 100 characters and is performed by a cast of 11. The play is structured as a series of more than 50 fragmented scenes, some no longer than 25 seconds, all of which are apparently unrelated but which accumulate into a startling mosaic, a portrayal of modern consciousness and the need for human intimacy, love and connection. In an interview with SPACE Director Nick Schroeder said Love and Information "puts the lens very very close, so the play is almost flipped inside out. There are about 65 scenes linked by an emotional thread rather than a narrative one. They don't necessarily tell a complete story, but they frame certain obstacles that come between people who supposedly love or trust each other, or think they do."
