SMCO presents Season Finale: Just Dance!
Discover the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, a vibrant new orchestra composed of some of Seattle's best emerging talent, in the final performance of its inaugural season. Critics are calling the sound of this exciting new ensemble "stirring and gorgeous," and the beautiful Daniels Recital Hall on downtown's Fifth Avenue is the perfect place to experience such a sound. The historic, newly-refurbished hall presents SMCO's Season Finale on June 5th at 7:30 PM, featuring two great works by French Impressionists: Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin and Debussy's Petite Suite. The program also presents Liadov's rare gem, the Eight Russian Folk Songs, and Sibelius' famous Valse Triste, full of enough exquisite melodies sure to get the heart singing and the toe tapping. Students from the acclaimed University of Washington Dance Program will accompany SMCO during the performance in an exclusive collaboration. Don't miss it! Tickets are only $10 for general admission, $8 for students and seniors, and free for those under 16.
