Decades before the new millennium began two young engineers came to San Francisco from back East -- both of them to pursue their mutual vocations in application engineering and controls. Unbeknownst to themselves they were destined for greatness in the annals of pink part E-Play.
Uncle Abdul hailed from the Windy City and achieved greatness in the late nineties when he wrote the first published book on kink electrical play, "Juice -- Electricity for Pleasure and Pain".
Later in the decade they met even became roommates. Zed (a.k.a. the MacGyver of BDSM) was taken aback as he moved from stationary TENS units to the remote control (RC) ones. To his amazement he discovered the least expensive one at the time was $325. It was then that he has an epiphany that he could make an RC TENS-like toy by converting a Howard Stern remote control fart machine into such a toy.
Recruiting Unc' and armed with a compelling sales proposition build your own remote control TENS-like unit for only $50 the Battery Boyz were born and took the BDSM community by storm.
The Battery Boyz started doing these classes at the turn of the 21st century. And, now, after a hiatus, they're back again with a revamped version of the class.

* This is a 3-hour class
* Besides the class entry fee of $15 (for South Bay Spot Members and members of reciprocal clubs or #20 for non-members), there is also a $50 lab, equipment, and parts fee
--- All the parts needed to build and use your unit are included. Compare that to the $400 price tag for the Erostek 302R unit.
* Sorry, >>No Auditors Allowed in this Class<< - Everyone attending must participate and pay all the fees.
--- A minimum class attendance of 10 is required and because of intensive assistance you'll receive during the class, we need to limit the class to no more than 15 people
* Bringing your own tools (pencil soldering iron, small needle-nosed pliers, and small wire cutters) -- if you have them -- is recommended. If you don't have these, there'll be extras that can be shared.
--- Though it would help, you don't need to have mechanical or electrical skills to build your unit. The Boyz will help you.
