Octagon Live - Rhinofest 2015
Octagon Live is a poetry slam series with a theatrical twist. Kristiana Rae Colón's play Octagon, winner of the 2014 National Latino Playwriting Award and the Dionysos Cup Festival of Work, is set in the world of poetry slam and explores the lives of eight young poets struggling to navigate their lives on and off the stage.
Octagon Live breaks down the walls between poetry and theater in a brand new way; actors from Octagon compete in character with poems from the play against local poets for a $100 cash prize.
